Free Spirit

This was for my friend Maria's challenge on using ribbons in 2 places or more. Here you see the organza poolkadotted ribbon in the front and 3 pieces of velvet ribbon on the right side of the card next to the 3 brads. (hard to see from this picture). This card looks complicated, but it was actually very simple.
I started with stamping my Free Spirit Birds and Circle Sentiments twice onto white & green cardstock, then cut out just the outer circle sentiment of the white. Covered the middle of it with a DP green giga scalloped circle and inked the edges. Then stamped middle with Endless Love. The green sentiment piece was left as a square frame, corner punched & added brads to centers of those fancy corners. The bird is stamped, cut and layered twice, has inked edges and was popped with foam dimensionals. The 3 side velvet ribbons sit under 3 circles also punched from Free Spirit stamped images then dressed up with brads. The polkadotted paper is layered with very black glossy cardstock and cornered with photo corners of the same paper. To dress up my card I doodled dots with metallic silver, white & black gel pens/markers. Ive been doodling dressup dots & lines onto my edges since I started playing with making cards in 2003. Its so fun and it really adds to the overall look of a card. I love my new CTMH stamps & fabulous consultant! :)
Stamps used: CTMH - Free Spirit D1217 & CTMH Endless Love D1260.

  1. Hey America! I love how you explained how your card was made. I just realized now that you had stamped the "Endless Love" image! LOL!

There's a stamper on SCS that loves to doodle her dots too. Her name is Faith. . .I believe her SCS name is MarkiesMom. . .or something like that. She doodles the dots on all her cards like you do!! I love all your dots! I think it takes a lot of patience!!
