Showing off My House Mouse Greeting Card designs

OK, so I admit it.... Im a HUGE HOUSE MOUSE stamps freak! I just really love those adorable little mice! There are so many of them and I cant get enough! Here are a few of my House mouse cards that I wanted to share with you to inspire you. Each is my very own creation and a one-of-a-kind. What do you think??

Here's an Asian Colors inspired card for last week's SCS Inspiration challenge showing off a gorgeous Oprah featured table setting. I chose this HM image because of the teacup. And used stickles glitter for the tea. Colored only the teacup's handle and edges to make it pop. The sweet mice are stamped twice, cut and twice layered for dimension. The bg is CB, stitched and dotted. Im also a big "silver brad" user and its reflected in almost all of my cards... i just feel as if it adds that final finishing touch to my work.

It's been so HOT lately..... BUt, not to worry.... here are 2 cards sure to keep you cool. :) Take a look at this BEACH scene....

I really love how this HM Wedding card turned out!! It's actually one of mice playing dressup but what wedding couple wouldnt like to get a fun dressup House Mouse card like this??? :) This is a trifold card made from a single HM stamp. I separated the image of the mice and attached each layered image onto tags then added eyelets & ribbon for this finished look.

This is a great stamp to do in Black and Whites for any Graduation.

These two are very similar because they are made with same get Well stamp, but i implemented a few differences to make one masculine and one more feminine.

I wasnt sure what sentiment to put on this one, but I thought "celebrate" would be perfect to give to that someone special who has acomplished their physical health goals.

I made this triple Bday mice card a year ago for a card swap. I love this HM stamp, but felt it needed an extra little touch, so added a 3rd mice on the side peeking out.

How about these adorable Birthday mice Blowing out the candles...

These Get-Well cards were also for scs sketch challenges. I added fibers and hardware and a small stethoscope from a sticker set to the right card. ( I love playing with stickers. Their possiblities are endless). The card below took much longer since I had to cut out each tissue for layering and poppring with dimensionals.

These patriotic cards were made for 4th of July and for a embossing/watercoloring challenge on scs. I have to admit I cant water color to save my life. Im just not good at it and its mainly because Ive never been taught how-to and Im limited with what I can see people doing on internet tutorials. Guess I need hands on training! LOL.

Ah yes, the Sleeping in the Crocus card..... this was probably my 3rd version of it before i finally settled on it. I played with stickles and glitter and diamond glaze and embossing.....and coloring....and...the list goes on and on..... it was a challenge to color these little guys. They are so cut out and popped for dimension, though its hard to tell on this picture. the background is a vellum pattern held together with gold photo corners and gold brads.

This Special Friend card was made while trying a new technque (for me anyway) :), called "Cracked Glass". I used Diamond Glaze over my main image, allowed it to dry then cracked the main image and scalloped circle in several spots for this look. Its kinda neat!

These Christmas HM are colorful and super fun!

I Sooooo LOVE this Sleeping in the Bird Feeder stamp. I had so much trouble coloring it...and this was about my 5th version before settling on it. lol. Chalks, Marvy LePlume Markers, Gel Pens and Stickles glitter made up this final look.

I couldnt decide on a sentiment for this "Fruity" HM card... but its embossed in copper colors and colored with Marvy LePlume markers for vibrant colors. Finished it off with brads in the same tones and a Heidi grace Ribbon!

This last card was chalk colored for the most part. I though that a fishing DAD would get a kick out of getting a card like this. :)

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my House Mouse Designs. I love to create with these little guys!
