***Let It Snow*** It's House Mouse Monday Challenge #17


Happy Monday!


Whheew!! ! It's been incredibly busy for us with Christmas activities and Christmas being right around the corner...... but its all Good, and we are truly blessed. I only wish there was more time in a day to get it all done! :)

So our HM & Friends challenge theme for this week is ***Let it Snow*** and here is my take:
The stamp used is Stampa Rosa's House Mouse Design #105 from 1998. Not sure of the name (?).
After I selected my HM stamp I didnt have a clue where to begin. Sooo, I started by stamping snowflakes with versamark onto dark blue CS and then heat embossing with Silver EP. I still didnt know where this would take me so I took another white piece of CS for the BG panel & Cuttlebugged with the SNOWFLAKES folder. I decided it needed to be **glistening snow** - so I added white dimensional glitter paint and sprinkled the panel with Diamond Dust for that extra sparkle. The image panel is also CB'd, but with the DOTS folder, Stickles Glitter on those DOTS and Diamond Dust. My Mouse and Sled are twice stamped, chalked and colored with Marvy Markers then popped with SU foam dimensionals. The multi Silver Ribbons were from a Walmart Holiday Section gift pack and are tied through slots made with the SU small window punch. The card is finished off with a Silver Snowflake Charm. I struggled with where to place a sentiment, so just ended up leaving it blank.
This card actually sparkles more in person than the camera captures. :(
