The name of this next Stampabilities HM image is called; "Wet-Behind-The-Ears", #HMJR1066. The Live, Love, Laugh Sentiment is also from Stampabilities, #CR1034. All BG panels are dry embossed with Cuttllebug folders. The blue paper is actually thick blue tinted vellum. Lots of silver brads anchor this layout. HM image was colored in with glitter gel markers, Marvy LePlume markers and chalks then sprayed with HS. The edges were also sponge inked with SU Soft Blues. A SU photo corner punch was used for the top edges.
Tall & Thin, House Mouse Monday Challenge #24
Monday, February 09, 2009
Hello & Happy Monday! This week's HM DT challenge was to make a HM card that was "tall and thin". No measurements were given. I turned my 1st card sideways and went with long vs tall and tried to stay thin.... but I wasnt happy. It felt like it needed to be a little longer & lose some width to fit this challenge better. So, instead of redoing this first card, I created a 2nd card that definitely looked taller and a seemed to be a little thinner... :) The name of this first image is from Stampabilities House Mouse Designs called; "Nose to Nose in Flowers" from 1997. The little hearts and the sentiment are from a candyblog win from 2RedBananas called "Snowman Love", #2911. (For more of theri fabulous sets, visit their site here: http://2redbananas.com/main.sc.
The DP is a brand new glittered stack from DCWV. The black strip is dry embossed with CB Dots folder. The images were colored with CTMH chalks and Marvy LePlume markers. Martha Stewart Punched Edges, Piercing and lots of silver heart brads complete this card.
Thanks for looking!
