Bundle of LOVE, HM&F Challenge #30

Happy MONDAY!!! Are you ready for another great House Mouse & Friends Challenge?? This week it's "Creating a SHAPED card!" Yeap, that's right. And it's WAYYYYY out of my comfort zone!! BUT here is my take:

The Flower Chipboard shape came from Michael's $1 Section. It actually comes as a chipboard album - but I took it apart to make it a card. I covered the chipboard flower pieces with a Glittery Nursery DP and attached the two with a Jewel Brad and Satin Ribbon at the top. I also added a loop with the same satin ribbon as a hanging piece that sits behind it. The ribbons were cut into small pieces, tied and put through each of the punched holes of the petals. That technique was inspired by an SCS challenge last week that featured Ribbon ties.

My main House Mouse Baby Image is from Stampabilites House Mouse Designs and its called: "Cozy Shoes", featuring Amanda & Mudpie, # HMF1016. {geez, can ya' help but smile whenever you see these adorable little mice doing their thing?}. :) The awesome "Bundle of Love" sentiment is from VERVE's BABY set called "Practically Perfect". Image is colored in with Marvy Leplume Markers and SU blending pens. Jewel Brads, Pearls & (Prima flowers -->sweet RAK from my friend Stacy aka: Twinshappy), all finish off my card.

Come & play along with us at: http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/.
Just make a card of any shape which is NOT a square or rectangle & link it to the blog with Mr. Linky. Check out what our DT has come up with to help inspire you. The samples this week will knock your socks off! You can check each of the DT's blogs for more details!!

Thanks for looking!
