HM&F Challenge #37, ***MOVING***

Hello & welcome back! Yesterday was Mother's Day in the USA and I sincerely hope it was a wonderful day for all of you Mommies out there. It certainly was for me. There is just no greater joy than spending this special Day with your children and loved ones. :)

Moving on to this week's HM&F Challenge #37 - and the theme is "Moving"!! This theme actually hits very close to home as we are an active military family that move every 1 to 3 years! Oh, and its not the kind of move that takes you around the corner or to the next town over. Its moving to places across the oceans and different countries!! Isnt that exciting?? We love the experiences & the diversity it brings!

Anyway, we were to create something for someone who is moving home/job or make a gift for someone who has just moved to your area ... Here is my take
The 2 combined single stamps used here are: One of Maxwell, #C348, HMD 1999 by Stampa Rosa & another of Monica, called "this Egg's for you", #HMF1011, by Stampabilities, HMD 2004.

In my mind, I pictured little mice carrying boxes on their heads. So, the large moving box was cut out and the 2 smaller ones were punched out with a SU square punch out of the same textured moving announcement set by American Greetings. I stamped Micee feet on the boxes & inked all edges with Brown Tim Holtz Distress Inks. The images are colored in with Marvy LePlume Markers! The BG DP is all by BasicGrey. A SU Photo corner Punch was used for bottom. Lots of gold brads and brown satin ribbon finish off this card! Simple, but fun.

Dont forget to check out our lovely DT's blogs to see what they've come up with & come play along with us at: http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/

Thanks for looking & Happy Creating!
America
