Relax & Enjoy, It's A Sketch!!

At House Mouse & Friends this week, our challenge is ~A Sketch, hosted by our own Judy! Here it is:

And this is my take:

Tried using the Copics for the first time, but somewhere in the middle of coloring I picked up my Marvy LePlume Markers & glitter gel markers to finish the image. I must get the hang of the whole Copic how-to-business soon. There's gotta be a trick to those! LOL

The image is by Stampabilities, House Mouse Designs, and it's called: Lip Smackin' Relaxin' from Jan 09, # HMI1016. Circles were cut with pinking Spellbinders, DP is by MME & rhinestones are from Michael's.

Thanks for looking & Happy creating!
America

  10. I'm giggling about your struggle with copics - you should have seen my first efforts - looked like a child of 3 had done them!! They are so different from other mediums I think there's a knack that comes with practice. Love the card, stunning bp and your multi-medium colouring looks great. You've changed my mind about the pinking nesties - I didn't like them when I first saw them.

  11. Oooh, such a pretty HM card! Love the dp that you used. I'm a dp freak so I love seeing beautiful dps on cards! Awesome job on your coloring! Keep practicing with the Copics! You'll get the hang of it. Looks like you're doing a wonderful job already even if you still used your other markers!!
