***At the BEACH for the Summer***

First of all, I hope everyone had a wonderful **4th of July** filled with fireworks! ****

Second, A BIG HUG & a huge **Thank You** to all of the incredibly thoughtful friends who wished me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :) You guys dont know how many BIG smiles to brought to my face & it means so much!!!! :) ;) Thanks for making this blog/cyber/crafting/artistic world of ours soooooo much FUN!!!!! You all ROCK!!!!

Third, getting down to business with this first card for this week's House Mouse Challenge #45. We were to create with a **Seasons** theme. I chose a BEACH theme for my favorite Season of all --> SUMMER.....
Lots of details went into this card - that 'Muzzy the Mouse' almost got lost in this scene, but...I just couldnt stop adding seashells & starfish & all those beach goodies..... LOL

The stamp used here is by Stampabilities, HMD "Keeping Cool", #HMLR1007. I cut out the mouse & beach umbrella, leaving out the remainder of the image, (which was the lemonade drink & ice cube), to add seashells. Image is colored with Copics. Seashells & Starfish were punched with "Emaginations" brand punches then ran through the CB folders for added texture. That awesome BG DP was actually gift from a generous stamper whom I purchased stamps from-so I dont know the brand name. The Solid Glitter Cardstock is from DCWV. Jolee's Boutique stickers, SU corner punches & twine finish off this card.

Go check out what awesome cards the rest of our House Mouse DT has created this week at HM&F!
Thanks for looking!

  5. Love the way you have him lying on the letters. It actually translates into "Laying on the Beach". The whole scene is remarkable. What an inspiration you are! Best, Curt
