***Make Wishes Come True***, HMFMC113 & Blog Candy Winner

Eeek!  Hello Friends! Welcome back to my blog! At House-Mouse and Friends MC, we are making wishes come true for the new challenge.

Here is my take...

MY CARD RECIPE
Stamps: Stampabilities, House-Mouse Designs, Called; "Donut Birthday, # HMOR1018
Paper: Red CS, White CS
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, COPICS
Accessories: Spellbinders Dies,  Nellie Snellen Dies, Martha Stewart Punch All Over the Page Punch "Diamond Rings" (for BG), and a MS corner Punch (used to create borders), Satin Ribbon, Adhesive Pearls, Prima Flower, Pink Puffy Paint, White Glitter Foam Pain, SU Sparkly White Glitter

The punched borders here are made with an MS corner punch used on a straight line instead of the corners. Give that a try with all your corner punches. You will come up with various NEW border looks for your FAB cards. These corner punches can also be used on shapes like circles to come up with awesome doilies and multiple medallions. The border here is doubled-up/layered with black and white CS.

My Background is also completely punched out with a Martha Stewart "Punch All Over the Page" punch called "Diamond Rings". I was able to follow the marked guidelines on the MS punch itself to make this continuous fun pattern all over to create this look.  There are lots of videos available online at -you tube- that will also show you how-to create variations of borders and great back-grounds with your awesome MS punches. :) Check it out!! You will look at your punches in a whole new way, so I hope you will give it a try...
Here is just one of those instructional videos for you to check out!
This new Mousey  challenge is being hosted by our mega talented Teamie, Heather Gilfor-Bond, and she's chosen to go with a *Make Wishes Come True* theme.  This can be for anything from a wishing well, a birthday wish, to wishing upon a flower....etc.... really any interpretation you'd like to create to represent "Making Wishes Come True" is what we would like to see! :)
Check out the HMandF MC Blog HERE for more details.

I am wishing for a donut myself! This is such a sweet card - can you imagine if our cakes and goodies were proportionally as big as this donut is to those sweet little HM? We would all be 400 lbs each. LOL! Love your creation.
