*** Honoring Our Troops ***
Here's a special post for all of our American Friends; It is my sincerest of hopes that you will pause to remember ALL of our fallen Soldiers and all those serving in the Military on this Memorial Day....
Here are some pictures of my Soldier and 3 of our 4 children placing flags on Soldiers tombs at the West Point Military Academy Cemetery scouting event for Memorial Day... The Girls Scouts and Boy Scouts carried the American Flags and gently placed them in front of each Tomb.
The Tombs of the Unknown Soldiers are graves in which the
remains of unidentified soldiers are interred, and dedicated to the common
memories of soldiers killed in any war. Such tombs can be found in
many nations and are usually high-profile.
Thank you for sharing this Special Memorial Commemoration with me.

Beautiful pictures. Was wonderful to put faces to your children and husband who you talk about all the time. Your family knows first hand the sacrifices that are made everyday by those who go off to fight and those left behind. Thanks for all you do, we are proud of our military families who give so much. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCute kids!!!

I love these pics America! So sweet that your whole family got involved. My kids were all in scouts in their younger years too - I miss that.
