First Project
A Floral Collage Love Card

LOVE Card Recipe
Stamps: Heartfelt Creations HCPC3468 Tattered Blossom Precut Stamp Set
Paper: The Paper Company Black Linen Textured CS & Recollections Signature Special “Love Letters” DP
Ink:  Marvy Matchables Dyes; Cheery and Crimson Lake Colors
Accessories & Tools: Spellbinders Tattered Blossoms HCD 722 Custom Die, Spellbinders Scalloped Borderabilities Die, Circle Punch, TPC Studio “girlfriends” Metal Accents, Recollections Signature Flourishes Embellishment Rhinestones, Prima Rhinestones, Black Sequin Ribbon, Foam Tape
Techniques: Sponging, Layering

How-to...
Cut lovely 12x12 DP in half and fold to make a 6x6 card base.  I chose this "Love Letters" DP for the large sparkly letters that I wanted to use as my sentiment.  Now take tattered blossoms stamps along with burgundy ink and stamp this panel (it will become your background), multiple times with the two smaller blossoms. Next, Cut Black Textured CS down to be slightly larger then DP base and glue to together.  Now Die-cut all the Flowers and the multiple Scalloped Borders out of the same DP and black textured CS leftovers.  Add scalloped border to top section with foam tape -this adds dimension and will make your flower stand out in center as focal-point.  Using a stylus, curl back each petal of your cut flowers, add glue to centers and stack these from largest to smallest to create a lg single dimensional flower for center and a tiny one for bottom to balance the card out. Adhere metal bling embellishment to center with lg glue dot.  Add rhinestone centers to both flowers. Now sponge card base edges with matching burgundy ink. Lastly, add the adhesive flourish bling starting from the flower and going outward towards edges in different directions. Doesn't it look like a vintage jazzed-up collage? :)

Third Project is a Dimensional Floral Wreath
Floral Wreath Recipe
Stamps: Heartfelt Creations HCPC3468 Tattered Blossom Precut Stamp Set
Paper: White CS
Ink:  Marvy Matchables Crimson Lake, Cherry, and Brown, Plum Dye Inks
Accessories: Spellbinders Blossoms HCD 722 Custom Die, Creative Memories Circle Cutting System, Inkadinkado Stamping Gear, Diamond Dust, Stickles, MS Ultrafine Glitter, Adhesive Rhinestones
Techniques: Lots of Sponging, Dry Embossing

How-to
Stamp the flowers in a circular shape using the Inkadinkado Stamping Gear Shapes.
Then, stamp more flowers multiple times on White CS and die cut these stamped images with the matching Spellbinders Tattered Blossoms Dies.
After Die Cutting all the Flowers, use a stylus, to curl back each petal of all flowers, add glue the centers to stack these flowers from largest to smallest. Adhere these around the stamped circle of flowers. Then sponge all edges multiple times with three shades of the same color to give depth.  Adhere rhinestone embellishments to centers. Cut circles out with CM cutting system and adhere behind wreath.  Add Stickles Glitter Glue to inner circle and diamond dust. After this is dry, add rhinestones to inner circles and all flowers. The end result is a stiff and 3D-ish sparkly wreath.  These could be made into any color of your choice to have hanging during any season or time of the year.

What do you think of these projects? I was super excited about the Heartfelt Creations opportunity, but my Military Family Life circumstances have changed and I will now have to pull out of the running for the Finals.  I do hope to re-apply again in the Fall - after we are settled at our new home in North Carolina.  Yeap, that's right!  It's time to move again. We are leaving the New York City area's West Point Military Academy and PCS'ing (Permanent change of station) down to Fort Bragg, NC.  That means I will not be crafting for a couple of months, but Ill definitely be stopping by your blogs to check out your lovely creativity.  These moves can be quite stressful, but with God's help, we somehow learn to adjust because we have to. It's the Army life that we we signed up for and so we do it with great pride. Wont you please keep us and all Soldiers in your prayers as we move along to a new adventure? :)

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement that mean so much.  I am off to Europe this week for a much needed week of relaxation. We are traveling to Belgium and I cant wait to dive into their world famous yummy Waffles and delicious Chocolates.  mmmm...
Happy crafting,  America
