Welcome back Crafty Friends!
We had such a great time with you on the House-Mouse & Friends BLOG-HOP with the Twine Challenge HMFMC156!  THANK you for participating. We had lots of prizes, and so your chances of winning were excellent (if you followed all the rules).  :)  An official BLOG-HOP WINNERS list will be posted at the HMFMC Blog -so please be sure to check there to see if you are one of the 14 lucky winners.  In the meantime, I'd like to share a fun project that I created before I reveal who my lucky CANDY winner  is... :)

Come join the FUN!! Grab one of our HMFMC Buttons and link it back to us!
This project is my take for the next House-Mouse Challenge #HMFMC157, which was chosen by my Teamie Natascha.  The theme is; ANYTHING~but a card.  I had this clear (empty) embellishment container
and turned it into this fun Pin Cushion Holder.

RECIPE To make the Pin Cushion
I took some cotton, some fabric and a piece of twill ribbon and tied a knot at the bottom on the cotton bundle that was covered with this fun Fabric. I then Hot Glued the bundle to the inside of the container that was also filled with cotton. The exterior is covered in pretty Designer Paper by DCWV, from the "Lace Street Collection".  A layer of the same Fabric covers a panel in the center of container and black lace decorates the containers lid lining. And look at this sparkly black rhinestone ribbon (from Michael's $1 Section).  It easily covers the seams and lines of the fabric on this and looks so cool in all that sparkle. Looks so much brighter IRL but it was difficult to capture that sparkle on camera.

Most of these Stick Pins are from my crafty stash, but about a third of these Hat Pins are Vintage Pins that actually came from my travels to Spain last year. I couldnt possibly part with some of those fabulous ones, so I decided to decorate them with beads, pearls, silver, gold, trinkets and colored charms. These might just have to stay out on my shelf for continuous inspiration. :)

This Pin Cushion was easier to create than I thought it would be. Totally not what I would normally do, so I'm thankful for this challenge theme by my Teamie Natascha. It really got me thinking outside of my comfort zone and now will try altering other things too. :)

There's lots of projects and wonderful inspiration on the House-Mouse Blog. Hope you can play along too. We are being sponsored by two amazing companies offering fabulous prizes;
