Masking with Dies for a Masculine Birthday Card

Happy Saturday Crafters. Here's a bright and colorful Masculine card to help warm you up during this cold Winter day!   I've used the same Die for main panels as well as to create my Masked background.  Isnt it FUN?
To create this look...
  • I cut 2 of the Beveled Striplet dies and backed these with different Cardstock Colors pieces that have also been embossed with the same "Textures Linen" Embossing folder as the background panel.
  • Using the Pierced Flag Dies, I cuts these from the same papers and placed across (almost resembles a birthday present, heh?).
  • The background pattern was created by masking with the same Bevelled die itself (not the die-cut), and moved the die around, spraying pattern multiple times using a silver metallic shimmer mister.  TIP: Masking with the same die as your cuts creates a continuation of lines throughout your project.
  • The Expressions "HB" word was cut several times and multi-layered for dimension.
