The BLOG HOP NEW CHALLENGE, HMFMC216
Use stencils with your HMD Characters
We’re celebrating stencils, and using them with our House-Mouse Designs® images. We’re going to bring you tons of inspiration over the next two weeks, and we can’t wait to see what you enter into the challenge! You may use ANY House-Mouse Designs® images or characters on your project, AND any stencils and stenciling techniques that you like.

There will be daily posts at the Stampendous Blog during the next 2 weeks - so be sure to check in daily for more inspiration!  Now here's my take using a fabulous Stencil from the Woodware Craft Collection called the "Crusade Stencil by DreamWeaver"

CARD RECIPE
These sweet images are taken and die-cut out from the Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse Designs CardMaking Collection Paper Pads - "Birthday" and "Everyday" collections.

I have used the stencil 3 different waysto make this background.
1- Taped down stencil on black cardstock and covered that with a paste using side of craft knife, removing stencil and allowing that to dry overnight for a glossy textured dimensional finish of the stencil graphics).
2- Used as the stencil as a stencil by spraying Gold Glitter Blast Spray over it for a fabulous stenciled golden look of the same graphic!
3. Third way was taking that sprayed stencil while it was still wet and laying over another cardstock paper to 'stamp' with the stencil. This gave me yet another really neat look. Hope you will give these stencils a try too! :)

Stamps; NONE
Ink: NONE
Paper: White Cardstock, Black Cardstock
Techniques: Stenciling, Layering
Accessories: Dreamweaver Stencil and Translucent Embossing Paste, Krylon Gold Glitter Blast Spray Glow, Vintage Gold Glitter, Recollections Gold Circle Bling. I've also used these fabulous  CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS Craft Dies by Sue Wilson; Perspectives Thank You Circles, Australian Collection Melbourne, Expressions Dies Happy Birthday...
