Hello Crafters! I sincerely hope you've had a wonderful weekend and have been enjoying the beautiful Spring weather. We have been busy over here in North Carolina preparing for the BIG MOVE to Colorado! And guess what? I keep running into crafty goodies that I will need to part with since I cant take everything along with me due to Household Weight restrictions! My loss, but it could be your gain as I will be sharing loads of extras as BLOG CANDY giveaways over the next 5 weeks! So don't miss out! :)
In the meantime, there is still some crafting to do and loads of makes to share! For now, here is a fun Ivy card that reminds me so much of Spring.
In the meantime, there is still some crafting to do and loads of makes to share! For now, here is a fun Ivy card that reminds me so much of Spring.
I've created this using Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson that are super FUN and very effective. These
dies layer up beautifully to give depth. Ive randomly sponged the leaves
with different Green tones for depth. The background Die was used for the embossing and then turned around for the debossed side that was then
sponged to bring out the debossed details better. This background is also
twice layered to show off the trellis better. I've used the same DP
behind the trellis as the used for base and inside of card for a
continuous look that adds just a little more color. The word sentiment die is the perfect size for these pierced Flag cuts and is multi-layered for a 3-D look.

Just beautiful. I love the ivy.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty, I love the ivy
ReplyDeleteFabulous card. Love the way the ivy trails up the trellis xx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card, and I always love Sue Wilson's dies, they are so elegant!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, America - the mere mention of move sends shivers down my spine. And you're not exactly going "round the corner" are you? Good luck with the move, and I'm sure it'll be fine in the end.
ReplyDeleteThe card is lovely, so fresh. Thank you for showing that it's NOT JUST a "sympathy" card - that's how I've used this particular die up to now. The days should DEFINITELY have more than 24 hours, so many beautiful dies to cut and make into little treasures.............
Hugs, Rose
Another pretty one America!
