Vintage Birthday Card from Playing Cards

Happy Sunday Crafters! Here is a B-day card from a while ago that had not made it on to my BLOG....  With all the Golden shimmer, it actually sparkles so much more IRL...
 Vintage Birthday Card Recipe
Would you believe that those floral images were actually die-cut out of an old deck of playing cards? Yeap, I found these at a Goodwill.

America's TIP: I often look for playing cards at Goodwill stores as you can get some super neat images to use as backgrounds!  These are usually of a heavy paper weight so they cut beautifully and work very well on any papercrafting project. :)

These lovely images screamed 'vintage cards' to me. LOL!  I've paired with creams and golds for the look. The CE/SW Lauren Die was cut and multi layered then set 3 multi layers across in tone on tone colors. I placed different playing card die-cut images under each panel. The Happy Birthday is double layered for dimension and sit on top of Pierced Flag cut.  Card is topped off with Ribbon, die-cut flower and Bling Button from Creative Expressions.  The entire card was sprayed with Gold Glitter Spray for that lovely antique/vintage shimmer.
Stamps: None
Ink: Gold Glitter Spray
Paper: Gold Glitter CS, Cream CS
Techniques: Layering, Spraying
Accessories: Various Creative Expressions Cutting Dies by Sue Wilson; Lauren Die from Frames and Tags Collection, Happy Birthday from Expressions Coll, and Camelia Open Petal dies from Finishing Touches Coll, (see pics below), CE button Dazzlers Gold Bling & Ribbon.
