Multiple Cards by America, created with Sue Wilson's January 2019, New Cutting Die Releases

Hello Crafty Friends. Welcome back!  Hope your creative week has been great.
Today I'm sharing a few new cards that I've created with Sue Wilson's new die releases.  Have you seen them?  Oh my!  I LOVE them!  Sue's amazing new die designs include fabulous backgrounds and some awesome triple-layering sets that are sure to WOW!  These dies are a must have for sure! You can check them out here; In2CraftCreative ExpressionsDRU and also on Sue Wilson's own Blog, called  "Participate In Craft", found HERE.

More to come, but take a peek at these makes that I've come up with so far...
First, this Shaped Birthday Card

I was going for a different look with this daisy flower crunched, bent & curled. Looks funky - but it was so fun to watch it curl-up with a heat gun. SW Products used; New release Frames & Tags Collection Millie, Frances & Tags Pierced flags, Finishing touches Delicate Daisies complete petals, Necessities - A Little Birdie Told Me (sentiment), CE papers by Sue Wilson - Classic Elegance Collection Paper Pad. Other products used: Flat-back pearls (placed randomly around card, sentiment and in the center of my funky flower. Papers are Heavy White 110lb Cardstock, Vellum (used on alternating cuts for flower) and Blue foil paper (from the dollar store).

Shaped card TIP: Use the largest of a die set like I've used the largest from the new Millie die-set here. To create the base,  simply fold the card base paper in half, then place the die over it, but leave the die hanging off/over the base edge just slightly, then run it through your machine to die-cut. This will leave you with a card-base fold in the shape of your chosen die. You can also add a second die-cut layer over this base panel (using the same die you've cut the base with), to cover-up any over-cut edges and smooth out the top panel's look.

Next, a Triple Layered Thank You
New Triple Layering Collection "Tina" Die.
Also uses these older SW dies; Expressions Collection: Bold Thank You, Shadow Box Collection: Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B and Stitched Lattice Frames. Other Products; White Cardstock, CE’s Card-stocks in blue shades, Acetate, CE -Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels - Diamond Gem Brad and a bow made from twill Ribbon.

Tweet Friend
Uses the following newly released dies; Triple Layer Collection Hummingbird and the Layering Background Elsa. The Sentiment is from the Necessities Collection - "A little Birdie Told Me" die set.  The Framing created with Background Collection - Triple Column, the Shadow Box Collection Stitched Lattice Frames and Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B. Only other Products;  CE Gold Mirrored Cardstock, Pink and White CS and Flat-back gold gems.

 Triple Layered Best Wishes
Created my own background by alternating cuts using "Anna" die’s center dies directly onto the Background panel. Then die-cut extra layers from shiny black and Gold Mirrored Card-stock to place over and under those same panel cuts for the triple layered look. The middle and top panels are also multi-layered for extra dimension and adhered diagonally on foam-tape. The Perspectives “Best Wishes” is die-cut multiple times from Gold Mirrored Cardstock and spray adhered over a Vellum strip. (Note how using Vellum helps to set-off the sentiment from a busy background, while still allowing the lovely die-cut design to show through the Vellum?). This is one of my favorite ways of adding sentiments to designs. Topped-off BG with square die-cut frames using SW’s Noble Double Stitched Squares die set. Finally, adhered gold flat-back gems to centers & corners as the finishing touches.

You are Mermazing!

Super sparkly IRL with all the Holographic Glitter in the Background and the shimmery papers. Uses these New SW Cutting Dies; Necessities - Can’t Wait To See You, Background Collection - Triple Column.  Also uses these older die sets; ,Shadow Box Collection - Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B and Stitched Lattice Frames. The key for depth here here was cutting out from different papers, coloring and layering.

Best Wishes in Lace

I think I'm most excited for Sue’s new Triple Layered Dies ...  the possibilities are endless. Here’s a card with the new Triple Layered "Matilda" Die set.  It's been used for both the background and the over-layering.  Almost looks like lace, doesn't it? :)  The furthest background panel is also dry embossed with SW’s Blossom Brocade Embossing Folder for the added texture. A silver lined bow and silver flat-back pearls seemed to be the perfect finishing touches here.

Many Thanks!

Created with these new Sue Wilson cutting dies; Triple Layer Collection - Dragonfly,  Background Collection - Herringbone, Mini Shadowed Sentiments - Many Thanks.  Also combined with these older SW die sets: Frames and Tags Pierced Flags, Industrial Chic - Butterfly and Dragonfly die Sets,  and Shadow Box Collection - Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B. Love Navy Blue and Gold combos.

It's a Girl!

Created with SW’s new Triple Layer Collection “Wildflower” die set,  Frames and Tags Collection - "Millie" die set. Also uses the Shadow Box Collection Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B dies,  New Arrival - It’s A Girl, and Frames and Tags Pierced Flags. These are all multi-layered for depth.
For a little shimmer- I’ve used Gilding Polishes on the flowers, the sentiment & the background circles. Papers are Heavy White. Cardstock and Sue Wilson's Paper Pad Collection.

Hello
I’ve been playing around with Sue’s new Dies and combining them with older dies for different looks. Sue Wilson die sets used;  Background Collection Basket Weave, Expressions “Hello” Die, Finishing Touches Layered Carnations set, Finishing Touches Fern Fronds.

CE Gilding Polishes in 5 colors; (doubled-up on the polish colors for the flowers for a look of depth).

Gold brads (for holding the shaped carnations together).

Thinking of you
