Thinking of you at Christmas, Trifold

Hello and welcome back to my little piece of bogland.
Today Im sharing a festive see-through trifold card that is not at all difficult to make.  Below are the steps of how this came together with lovely Creative Expressions cutting dies by Sue Wilson.

CARD RECIPE
First, follow the steps for creating the extended trifold background panel. I showed how-to on a recent post, simply scroll down on this blog a couple of postings or click HERE to go directly there. Once you have you base panel created, back-it with vellum. This gives it a lovely softness and extra strength while it remains see-through.

After the base is ready, begin by adhering multi-layered oval frames. I layered 3 frames, though Im only showing two here. This will add nice depth.

Now die-cut and center the oval frames on center and side panels.

Next make the flowers and decide where to place them.
Ive used the Festive Collection. Sue Wilson Industrial Chic Poinsettias die set here. These are  die-cut out of silver mirrored card and vellum.
The vellum cuts have been spritzed with water, dried and then bent for shape.

Next, multi-layer and alternate silver and vellum cuts. The vellum adds to the look as it softens the look.  Stack and adhere as shown while pressing the centers to further form into desired shape.

Next die-cut the sentiment multiple times and stack-adhere these cuts one over the other. Im only showing 3 cuts here but my final design actually has 4 total stacked sentiments. The extras give depth that really makes a difference.

Adhere sentiment on Oval and begin adhering the poinsettias and evergreen branches.

Next add embellishing to the interior. One side is white and opposite is done in silver.
Ive used multiple sized adhesive pearls for center oval panel and created another small matching poinsettia for the third panel's bottom corner. Decorating the interior to match completes the card and should look like this.

The back of the card should look something like this.

Front of card folds easily with its scored edges. The vellum is see through and the Trifold is classic. Here is a closer look at the layers and floral dimension.

That's all there is to it! I hope to have inspired you to give these fun ideas a try.
