Design a House Mouse Card on the lowest possible Budget -
that WAS the challenge for today.... and so here's mine:
House Mouse mice popping popcorn over a birthday cake! :)
Expenses:
I used 2 DP sheets from a small 25 sheet designer paper pack that I found at the $1 Dollar Store. The dimensional adhesives are also from a pack of 750 squares, which also only cost $1, same store. That ribbon I had found at a goodwill for only $.20 cents for a huge spool. That's right, it pays to shop at goodwill for unknown lost items like crafts. The most expensive thing used here was my new HM stamp, which I recently purchased off of ebay for $2.99. The images were colored with coloring pencils and glitter gel pens. Not bad for staying on a budget huh? :)
Such a FUN card!!! Don't you love finding hidden treasures at yard sales, thrift stores, and Goodwill? I love it!! Awesome paper and love the ribbon. Your incredible work always puts a smile on my face:o)

Oh gosh!! That is adorable! I have that stamp and it's so fun!!! Great job on the Budget :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I like that dp and the colors are so vibrant and cheery!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card!! I love Goodwill shopping! I think half my wardrobe is from there! I picked up a new leather jacket at the one in Seattle for $3 (half of red tags day!)
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to find thrifty deals, lets us splurge on other stuff every now and then!
I love your stuff so much, I left you an award on my blog!
hugs, Jami
What a great card ;)
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! You are an inspiration! I don't like spending tons of money on making cards either. (I do spend lots of money but I don't like to!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card!! Love the bright colors, very cute stamp and great layout...doesn't look "budgeted"!! :)
ReplyDeleteHow darn cute and the design is just so pretty too!
