2 ODBD Baby Cards & Blog Hop Info & BLOGCANDY

Ok, if you are here and you are Gloria Westerman, you WILL WANT to stop by the OBDB Blog for **Light Of the World** Stamp set WINNER details... (hint, hint) :) If not, thanks again to everyone who participated on our first ODBD Challenge Team Blog Hop. We hope to have you playing along with us on our weekly Challenges beginning next Saturday, Feb 6!! ALSO NOTE; there will be a New ODBD Release Blog Hop this Monday, Feb. 1st!! Our DT will have fab card samples featuring these new beautiful sets so we hope to see you then!! :)

And now on to a couple of BABY cards that I've created using the January release Stamp Set from ODBD called "Noah's Ark";

My first card is for today's Inspirational Challenge # 217 ~ over at SCS: We are to be inspired by products found at the fabulous ESPE site. I chose this handbag piece as my inspiration because it totally reminded me of a sweet, bright & yellow rubber ducky when I saw it! LOL
And darn it, now I cant stop singing the Sesame Street 'Rubber Ducky' SONG:
"Rubber Ducky - You're the one,
You make Bathtime lots of fun,
Rubber Ducky I'm awfully fond of youuuuu...
LOL (can ya tell Im a Mommy?) heheh...

CARD RECIPE:
Stamps: ODBD - Noah's Ark Paper: DCWV DP, Yello, Blue, White CS
Ink: Marvy Mactachles, SU White Signo Gel Pen, Marvy LePlume Markers
Accessories: Cricut New Arrival Cartridge, Border Punch, Silver Charm, Ribbon, Stickles, Cuttlebug Embossing Folders, Silver Brads
Techniques: Dry Embossing

**************************
My next card is mostly white & girly. I love how this Baby Baptismal Card turned out (mainly 'cuz I generally have issues with creating foo-foo cards!)LOL... I followed the SCS sketch challenge found here:

Stamps: ODBD - Noah's Ark

NOW, for some BLOG-CANDY.....
If you know me, you know how much I LOVE to use CHARMS!!! :) So, I thought it would be FUN to give away 5 Rubber Ducky, 5 Cross & 5 surprise themed CHARMS to one lucky winner. All you need to do is leave a comment on this post telling me what you think of these 2 'charmed' cards & also, how you like to use CHARMS on your projects. I will select a random winner by next Sunday, Feb 7th!

  9. Love your two "charmed cards," America. Cute little rubber ducky and the very pretty baptism card and all the lovely layers too. I love to use charms glues onto buttons, dangling from flowers or jump rings and with ribbons too. Thanks for sharing and for the chance to win some charms too.
