A Patriotic Tribute on the Fourth of July

 *** Happy Fourth of July *** to all Americans enjoying this special day Celebrating Our Nation's Independence Birthday with your friends, family and loved ones!  :)

This Patriotic scene seems so touching and meaningful with this sentiment. The grungy card was created to pay tribute to all those who serve our great country on this special American Holiday!  I've used the amazing ODBD Military themed stamp set "Not Forgotten" that I've had my eye on for a long time and was over the moon when Kelly at ODBD sent it out to me.  Can't thank you enough Kelley! I so LOVE it and will be putting it to good use. Especially in our Military community where we are also an active duty ARMY family.  :)

NOT FORGOTTEN Card Recipe

Lots of sponging and distressing in Reds, Blues and Brown Ink tones went into this card for the grungy masculine look!  The Star is multi-layered for dimension. The image was stamped four times in 4 different colors (Navy Blue, Rich Red, Chocolate Brown and Ranger Green), then cut out and reconstructed to create this colored soldier scene. The star panel die from Frantic Stamper is awesome as it also gives you the cut out stars (that Ive also used here as my star embellishment).  I love how sponging in different inks gave this star panel its multi-colored edges. Silver Brads finish off the look here.  What do you think?
