Here's wishing you a Happy and joyful Palm Sunday! Easter is one week away! :)
I have a card for today's Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers in which we are to take a Designer's card and recreate it (CASE), making our own changes to it along the way. Today's featured stamper is Jennifer Timko and the challenge can be found HERE. This stamper has such an inspiring gallery. For my take, I followed this square card using the following type of a layout that she uses often and so beautifully;
I kept the same collage type of a look for the background and followed her layout and ideas. I changed the colors and used a map image instead a flower, added bling instead of a sentiment for bottom panel, used lace and ribbon-flowers instead of ribbon for a Vintage look.
Also at SCS, this follows this week's TLC Challenge #TLC421, which was to Transform/incorporate a Map into our designs. Maps are always a great touch on Vintage styles and a HOT trend right now.
This card is going to my SIL -who literally does travel the world as a travel agent in NYC.' Im so blessed to have her in my life. She has taken me along on some beautiful trips. Last Spring we were in Paris, France!! That's where I purchased this beautiful large spool of cream French Lace.
I shared some of this lovely lace with my wonderful and mega talented Design
Teamies at House-Mouse & Friends MC. :) Do stop by the blog and check us out to play along!! We always have great fun, loads of Inspiration and amazing prizes up for grabs.
TFL & Happy Creating! :)
