As for my House-Mouse Candy Winner, I want to apologize as I thought this announcement had already posted when it was scheduled. Ooops! :( Did you play along on the HMFMC 200th Celebration Challenge? It was super FUN to celebrate 7 years of creating with the adorable illustrations by Ellen Jareckie at House-Mouse Designs®!! We love our players and followers so had loads of prizes for you to show our appreciation. It's always such a joy visiting all your lovely entries! Thank you! :) The Winner is listed at the bottom.
Here is a new Christmas card for the current "Flower Power" theme for Challenge # HMFMC201, at House Mouse and Friends. It's hosted by Teamie, Pauline Bird. Come check it out HERE and enter. But hurry it ends Aug 29th.
A "Joyous Noel" Mousey and some Poinsettias
These dimensional Poinsettias were made with 3 separate Creative Expressions fabulous Festive Collection dies by Sue Wilson; (Classic Poinsettia, Classic Open Poinsettia, and the Mosaic Poinsettia). I started by cutting the classics first, then layered them with the Mosaic and/or the Open Poinsettias for the diff looks. Dimension was created by roll-shaping each petal with edge of a pencil and pressing the centers inward (on a foam surface). These were then adhered and topped with bling. It's super easy to do with these fabulous dies. Hope you will give these flowers a try.
Card Recipe
Stamps; Stampa Rosa, , stamp called "Joyous Noel", #454H, from the year 2000, and featuring Mudpie.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Copics
Paper, Heavy White CS, Making Memories Textured Red and Polkadot Green
Accessories: Creative Expressions Noble Dies, Classic Poinsettia, Classic Open Poinsettia, and the Mosaic Poinsettia), metallic Bling and Ribbon.
Technique: Multi-Layering (is this even a technique?) LOL!
