Hello and welcome back! Today I'm sharing a sweet decorative Baby Girl
Banner to use for hanging on a mantle or on tables at your Baby Shower
gatherings.! It is loaded with texture, bling, flowers & clear acrylic accent blocks announcing it's a Girl!
A close-up, though this pic was taken at night so shows darker.
How-To;
This was super fun to assemble and SO easy to create with the Amazing Paper Grace Pivot Banner Etched Dies. Start with die-cutting elements from white and pink heavy cardstock. Do this multiple times to be able to work in an assembly -type of a setting to make it easier. Then adhere together as shown to create each section that is twice layered for depth and stability. Next, start assembling your prepared sections with the baby Girl acrylic blocks at the top of each section. Place these individual sections over a double satin ribbon, making sure to evenly separate each section along the ribbon's length. Your finishing touches really will make this banner even sweeter. I chose flowers - created with the Sweet Cottage Flowers Die Set and the small accents at bottom of each were die cut from the Grand Crested Tower Etched Die Set. I then embellished with silver brads and silver adhesive half pearls. The final step was adding cardstock to the back of each section to cover up all the workings and brads leaving a clean white space.
You could create banners from any Amazing Paper Grace dies, really. To me, this pivot die just makes it so easy because it just screams "Banners"- LOL!

ReplyDeleteI've been waiting a long time to read an article of this caliber. I appreciate the author. I'd like to share an article about Games That Test Your Color Vision. Playing games can be a fun and engaging way to help us become better at identifying different colors apart and shades to improve how we perceive the world visually.
