Feliz Cinco de Mayo to all of my Mexican friends and to those who aren't Mexican but still enjoy a delicious Mexican Meal and, or fab drinks on this fun Holiday!
Do you know the significance of Cinco de Mayo?
Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a special holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army's May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.
My "Muchas Gracias" Card Details:
I have created this card using all Amazing Paper Grace cutting dies by Becca Feeken for Spellbinders. I first die-cut all the doily parts in several double sided papers and then again from colored burlap that reminded me of the bright and cheerful Mexican doilies. I then layered and adhered the 2 doilies as shown. As an extra fun accent, I also used the bow ends and lined these on the side edge. The finishing touches are the gems. Fairly fast and simple card once all the cuts are ready to be assembled.
