Hello friends! Happy Wednesday! If you are here looking for February's Crafty Sentiments BLOG HOP, or, new House Mouse Challenge #62, or, the February Release ODBD-DT BlogHop info and, or, my mini-BLOGCANDY please scroll down.
If you are here for this week's Be Inspired # 69 Cuttlebug Challenge, YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT SPOT!! This week we are to use Glimmer Mist from our sponsor, Tattered Angels. We have created a pattern for a mask, laid it on our project, and then applied Glimmer Mist for color and shine. This product produces amazingly elegant, and beautiful shimmering results. The color possiblities are endless! :)
Simply make a MASK & spray Glimmer Mist, or a similar shimmering coloring agent onto your project and ALSO use a Cuttlebug embossing folder! Link your finished project to Mr. Linky on the Cuttlebug Challenge BLOG by Tuesday, Feb. 9th.
Here is my Glimmer Mist card:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Design's upcoming release set called "Sing For joy".
Paper: Craft Cardboard & DCWV Heavy Cream CS, Brown textured Bazill.
Ink: Brown StazOn, Brown Brilliance, Marvy LePlume Markers, Blending Pens, Copics
Accessories: Glimmer Mist, Music Notes Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Spellbinders, Satin Ribbon, Gold Brads, Clear EP, Gold Leaf Pen
Techniques: Masking, Glimmer Mist Spray, Dry Embossing, Heat Embossing, Sponging
I sprayed the mist on to the entire background, on main panel, a little on Cardinal, on Sentiment Panel...everywhere...this card is quite shimmery, though its not captured too well or very visible in photographs. (sorry)
