Hello Crafters. Sorry I've been MIA lately. It's been a really busy Summer with our family. Hope you're enjoying a happy and lovely Summer too! I was able to sneak in some crafty time to create this French Window Card. It's an idea that's been floating around in my head, so I wanted to try it using Sue Wilson's fabulously detailed dies for an ornate, French look....
The red color you see inside the window is only a red CS panel that is also embossed, though you cant see it in the photograph here. For the Top and Bottom ornate parts of the window, I've used the lovely Lattice Arched Adornments from the Configurations Collection. The shutters were made by cutting the Finishing Touches Classic Foldover Flower die-cuts in half and adhering those cuts to the window sides. The background Brick embossed look was made by layering two embossed panels side by side. The darker lines within the brick were made by brayering the Embossing Folder with gray ink prior to running it through the Grand Calibur to Emboss. It could still use a sentiment, but I will hold that part off until I need it. :)
