Happy Saturday Crafters! Hope you're having FUN if you are attending the CHA 2016 MEGA SHOW party in California. But if not, I hope you are having more FUN at home getting crafty like me! :) It's my day to post at Creative Expressions and I'm sharing this easy card created with Sue Wilson's Noble and Heart craft dies.
This is a fun card to cut and layer with these fabulous Dies
Thank You Hearts Card Recipe:

If you'd like to give this card a try, this is my how-to;
First, you will want to stamp your sentiment and cut it out as shown using the larger heart die from the Finishing Touches Heart of Hearts die set.
Next you will want to cut and prepare your shaped card base layer. Crease at about an inch from top prior to placing die on paper to cut.
Tip 1: Place Noble die just above and over your 1 inch fold on your cardstock paper. This will be leaving a section to adhere to another panel to make your standing shaped base.
It will look like this after cutting
Now make 2 more Noble cut panels as shown
Here is the card with front and back Noble panels adhered
Tip 2: After cutting and embossing my panels, I also like to take that extra step and run a stylus embossing ball tool to add crease to the inside edges of my cuts for a deeper, more defined embossed look!
The 3 embossed/adhered panels will end-up looking like this for a standing shaped card;
Don't forget to decorate the inside of your cards! I always try to incorporate the same DP as what I've used on the card front. Here I've made the following smaller Noble cuts from the same Designer Paper for adhering to the inside layer.
Adhere and layer these smaller Noble cuts (as shown) and adhere to the inside of the Card.
Tip 3:
Doing this extra step for the inside creates a more polished, finished look and also
adds strength to your shaped card base for standing and displaying your card
best.
Next, make the following cuts to layer together for the top panel
Next, make the following cuts to layer together for the top panel
Place small noble cut layer over white frame
Add adhesive Foam to the back of the frame and set over the red text DP
Here is your prepared top panel to adhere and set on your ready-to-use white card base
You will now have the Card top ready for the Heart panels
Next make the following Cuts for the hearts
TO make the 4 white frames, layer your heart dies as shown;
To cut the larger red heart frame, layer the heart dies like this; You will end up with lots of tiny little hearts (these are adorable and perfect confetti so save these for another project).
Now assemble all your heart cuts and adhere layered in this order
Assembled hearts will look like this:
Add foam adhesive to back of hearts and place stacked in a vertical line on card front;
Place your embellishments where desired. I've added various sized half-Pearls and white satin ribbon Loops as shown. On the first card I had used Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels (LOVE that stuff) for the center mini heart. This adds a little sparkle and texture.
Here are both finished cards.
Whew! What do you think? Lots of cuts and steps, but still way too easy, right? Its all a matter of layering. Using white color with just one other rich color will create fabulous contrast and depth when layering. Hope you'll give it a try too! :)
