Winter Birthday and Winter Love

Happy Friday! Today I have 2 cards to share...
First, a Winter Birthday for the current Challenge happening at House-Mouse and Friends. Stop by to check out the fabulous talented Teamie makes and play for your chance to win a fabulous prize from Simon Says Stamp!  The theme is Winter Sports / Winter Fun!

Here is my First Card using House-Mouse Designs Stamps;
"Winter Birthday"
I've had some of these little guys for ages!  Finally opened two more of the new wrappers today! LOL! I decided to use several of these winter sporty themed House-Mouse stamps to create this adorable winter background paper. Isn't it fun? :) For Depth, I've multi-layered the sentiment. The Snowflake Oval Die-Cut was cut in-half,  trimmed and altered to create smaller oval shape with snowflakes most showing to create a laser-cut look.

This project started out as a Hearts Shaker card attempt - but it totally changed along the way and it ended up being a glittered Acetate Heart Windows card instead! LOL!  Does that ever happen to you?  Do you start with one idea in mind and end-up creating something completely different that what you envisioned?  That's what creativity is all about, isnt it?
