Amazing Paper Grace June Die of the Month Blog Hop - Snip It Grid

Are you ready for another versatile Snip It Grid Die?

As a member of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team, I receive free product for use in my projects.

Hello Gracelets!!  We are so tickled to share our inspiration for the newest Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for June 2020 - A2 Snip It Grid and Calendar Creator.  In fact, since Our earlier Snip It Die was a hit and Becca decided to give you another option with lots of extras!  All of us on the Creative Team want to show you our take on how to use it.

Snip It Grid Extras

The extras added on to this die set make it a wonderful value.  In addition to the grid, you get an entire lower case alphabet plus enough of the upper case alphabet to do Day of Week abbreviations and Months.  If you are already a Member of the Die of the Month Club then you might be tickled to know that this lower case alphabet matches the Upper Case alphabet from October 2019 Die of the Month - One Kind Word (still available).

We kicked around how we might use the die and here's what we came up with:

  1. Background
  2. Large Frame
  3. Double Frame with two apertures
  4. Calendar
  5. Snip out the cross pieces and make a lined background
  6. Shaker Card
  7. Weaving
  8. Crossword Puzzle

Okay, okay, you get the idea!  But we want you to know that this transforms and gives you so many unique options.

Here are the dies included in the set:

My Project Today using Snip It Grid:

A fun calendar card.  I can see these calendars duplicated and adhered together as a mini-album or  a fun dated booklet for a full year that could have storage pockets.

This card was photographed without a month for showing a general month (the pic above was taken after I had added in the month of July to its side panel, as seen above). What an exceptional die-set that could gets lots os use going forward.  Hope you will give it a try.

Card Supplies:  Amazing Paper Grace cutting dies, Satin Ribbon, Pearls, Pearl Brad
Stamps: None
Paper: Cream CS, Patterned CS, Purple CS,  Vellum and Mirrored Rose Gold CS
Ink: None

I have created this over the top, but fabulously fun purple gift-box from cardboard I had left over from a 12x12 cardstock paperpad. I followed a box template then decorated the box with multi layered die-cut grids I cut from shiny black cardstock . I took the cut out violet square pieces from the grid and inserted those back in around the box to cover up parts of the pattern for a checkered look. The flowers and leaf included in this die-set are just adorable and perfect for many uses. The die-cut words are also from this set and are also multi-layered. The finishing touches are pearls on inner grid-lines corners & a bow.  Dont you love an awesome grid that can be manipulated/extended/cut down to varied design sizes for using on multiple projects?  I can just see  me using this Snip It Grid for lots of creations going forward.  Hope you will give it a try.
